The decision was made this week by the Board of Health and Board of Selectmen to close Conomo Point to seasonal residents and only allow permanent year-round Essex residents onto the property. This decision was made by our town officials out of an abundance of caution to help prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Please know that these decisions are not made lightly and are meant to keep people healthy and safe.

The effected individual is following isolation protocols recommended by the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control.
