Police Advisory Regarding COVID-19 Closures: Conomo Point

The decision was made this week by the Board of Health and Board of Selectmen to close Conomo Point to seasonal residents and only allow permanent year-round Essex residents onto the property. This decision was made by our town officials out of an abundance of caution to help prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Town of Essex – Board of Health – Confirmed COVID-19 Case

Please see the advisory below from the Essex Board of Health regarding a confirmed case of COVID-19 in The Town of Essex. The effected individual is following isolation protocols recommended by the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control. Please be aware that the name of the individual and residential address will not be released due to privacy laws.
