Essex Police Department to Welcome Massachusetts Police Accreditation Commission to Conduct On-Site Assessment

Chief Paul Francis is pleased to announce that a team of assessors from the Massachusetts Police Accreditation Commission is scheduled to visit the Essex Police Department next month to begin examining various aspects of the agency’s policies and procedures, operations and facilities for re-accreditation. (This is an updated press release that reflects new Essex Board of Health rules requiring masks in all municipal buildings.)
